Rathsallagh House Wedding Photographer
I loved being a Rathsallagh house wedding photographer. It’s one of my favourite venues I’ve photographed at in 2024 having the privilege of traveling up and down Ireland for weddings this year. Here are some images from Ais & Petes awesome day back in September. The day full of emotion, colour and even their dog turned up for a couple of snaps. With family and friends at the heart of everything they planned that was evident in the atmosphere throughout the day with all the hugs, inside jokes and a few tears here and there.
As a documentary wicklow wedding photographer, I was excited for this one as it was the first time I got to be at Rathsallagh house. Winning the wedding suppliers country house venue of the year for a second year in a row they really know how to run a wedding. located in Ireland just south of Dublin ( 55 mins Dublin Airport) on the Kildare Wicklow border, Rathsallagh is closed exclusively to couple’s on their wedding Day. with fantastic fantastic scenery to enjoy, the wonderful facilities and the great location Rathsallagh has to offer with 270 acres of Parkland and Walled Gardens.
They have been hosting wedding parties for almost 30 years now and their experience in that regard is hard to surpass. They can comfortably seat from 50 up to 250 guests . Smaller Weddings are a speciality at Rathsallagh as it is set up to provide a soft romantic setting with lots of candles and garden flower arrangements provided at no extra charge. Because you have exclusive use of the estate on your big day , Rathsallagh is considered to be one of Ireland’s more unusual and exclusive wedding venues. and no detail is over looked by the team.

Weddings At The Annebrook House Hotel, Westmeath - L&T
Lisa & Tom at the Annebrook house, Mullingar was an absolute PARTY!!!! Lisa had been following me on social media well over a year before I shot their wedding. She just wanted me to be me and let me have free reign. Both Lisa & Tom did not care for all the traditions and stress that comes with a wedding day they just wanted to have fun. The setting for this amazing day was the Annebrook House. Situated in the heart of Mullingar, 50 minutes from Dublin. The award winning 4 star Annebrook House hotel presents a spectacular fusion of 17th century heritage with ultimate modern styling making it the ideal venue for your Westmeath wedding.
At the annebrook house, Orla and the team understand how important the decision is for you both in selecting the right venue and they are there to fill you with confidence so you can relax in the knowledge that Annebrook house hotel is the ideal location for your wedding. They also cater for civil ceremonies both large and small. This romantic wedding venue offers flexible dining and drinking spaces centred around the tastefully decorated 17th century manor house. On arrival at this unique venue, their bridal party and guests enjoyed the traditional charm of the manor house for their drinks reception complete with its own private entrance and bar which Lisa and toms family friends took full advantage of. I was running between inside and outside as there was so much laughter coming from both haha
For the main event, spacious and bright ballroom catered for plenty of space and offered the perfect backdrop to their wedding meal and celebrations. Alternatively they can offer a more intimate restaurant style wedding- which provides the luxury of a full a la carte menu in the beautiful surroundings of our old house cellar restaurant. The hotel offers a variety of accommodation types with 26 bedrooms and 32 two bedroomed apartments, which Lisa and Tom had for their getting ready spaces. The venue's central location in mullingar means that it is an ideal location for guests to travel to. With exclusive use of the hotel which only allows 1 wedding per day and gave guests full exclusive use of the beautiful annebrook house, its elegant entrance, reading and drawing room, bar and lounge and also its manicured gardens and view of the local park which the hotel has there own entrance so make sure you ask them for a key if you plan to use it when it closes at 9pm. The house provided the ideal backdrop for those photographs hey hopefully cherish.
I can’t praise Orla and the team at the Annebrook house. They made life so easy for not only Lisa and Tom but for myself swell, It was the first time I hd shot there and I hope I get to go back soon. The communication was perfect through out the day and they all kept the timeline running to a tee and I know thats how they are with the couple as well. So if a Westmeath wedding is your choice then put the Annebrook on the top of your list!
Their day was just full of laughter, TikTok videos, Shots at the bar, Dancing on chairs and giving the best man the middle finger ha
I absolutely loved capturing this day was such a blast and I can’t thank both of them enough for letting me be the one to photograph all the crazy, love and awesome memories!!!!
