Marlfield House Wedding - Megan & Denis

Chilled as two cucumbers sitting in a summer salad these two!!! I had the pleasure to be a Marlfield House wedding photographer for Megan and Denis’ celebrations in the gorgeous 19th century home situated just on the out skirts of Corey, Wexford. With a few teary moments, plenty of laughs and a secret singer waiter the sun came out for this epic day in the south of Ireland

With Megan and her side of the bridal party getting ready in her family a quick 12 min drive from the venue. I was able to implement my documentary style photography early on with capturing all the interactions between both parties including Denis’ side of the family who had been getting ready in the venue aswell as they had all arrived early that morning. with Claire from Claire crown and glory handling Megans side for hair and Joanne O’Brien looking after the girls on Denis side both parties were in good hands

Marlfield House Hotel is 4-star multi-award winning luxury boutique country house hotel, recognised as one of the best manor house hotels in Ireland. a family run hotel set on 36acres of land surrounding it that has something for every kind of wedding you want. Relaxed wedding vibes at Marlfield House Hotel and The Duck Restaurant

Megan and Denis chose to have an outdoor ceremony and a chilled wedding reception at Marlfield house, with drinks and family formals outdoors on the lawn. They’d planned a brilliant day, with food, drink, and entertainment at the top of the list, and they smashed it! Tith the secret singer waiter kept as a surprise from everyone. He did not disappoint. Getting bums out of seats and even a conga line!!!

Everyone made use of the outdoor space, enjoying the sunshine in the afternoon, chilling out with drinks and cuddling with the house cats that had no shame in plonking themselves down on the laps of anyone who was willing to let them.

Rock and pop band the sixty five provided the party vibes as they had people up and singing at the top of their voices on the dance floor. Everyone was well-fed and fuelled for some awesome dance floor moves and probably some who probably wished I had gone home by the time they let loose but my documentary style approach gets me in on the action giving you that close up feel to your wedding photos and I have no problem signing to Westlife with the mother of the bride or taking an elbow to the head if it means getting the shot haha

I loved being a Marlfield House wedding photographer for Megan and Denis. Capturing some of my favourite moments of the year with Denis saying in his google review “We booked Andy as our photographer for our wedding. He was absolutely amazing. Words cannot describe how comfortable he made us feel throughout the day and lead up. The photos are unbelievable! The moments he managed to capture in such brilliant and creative ways will now be with us forever. Thank for having me you two I had a blast!!!!
